Is it urgent?
Call rather than filling in a form if any of the following is true: you smell smoke in the house, you think you have had a chimney fire, a carbon monoxide alarm has sounded, or an animal is in your flue. If a CO alarm is sounding, get everyone outside first and call 911. If you smell gas, leave the property and call the gas emergency line before you call anyone else.

Is booking online faster than calling?
No — calling is faster. The form sends us your details and we call you back to confirm; the phone gets you a time immediately. The form exists because not everyone wants to make a call, not because it is quicker.
Will I get a confirmed time straight away?
Not from the form. We call you back to agree a time that suits you. We would rather do that than assign you a slot you cannot make.
What information do you need from me?
Your name, a phone number, and roughly what the job is. It helps to know what you burn (wood, gas or pellet) and when the chimney was last serviced — “never” is a completely normal answer.
Can I book a same-day appointment?
Sometimes, depending on the day and the season. Autumn is extremely busy. Call rather than using the form if you need something soon.
Do I pay when I book?
No. Nothing is taken at booking. The price is agreed before work starts on the day.
Can I book an inspection for a house I am buying?
Yes, and that is a Level 2 inspection rather than a standard sweep. Tell us it is a property purchase when you get in touch so we book the right visit and the right amount of time.
What if I need to reschedule?
Call us on (708) 432-3430 and we will move it. We would much rather move an appointment than have you cancel because the timing stopped working.
Do you work weekends?
Yes. Seven days a week, 7:00am to 7:00pm, at no different rate for a Saturday or Sunday.
